Every move began with a question. Progress depended on permission, and every request carried the possibility of rejection. Without realizing it, we learned to measure our confidence against someone else's approval before taking the next step. Even now, many of us still pause, waiting for validation before trusting our own instincts.

We outgrew asking permission. We never stopped waiting for it.
