Red Rover was never just about crossing the line. It was about hearing your name called and wondering whether you would make it through. The strongest players were chosen to break the chain while others waited, hoping not to be tested next. Long after the playground disappeared, many of us still live by the same rules, measuring ourselves against impossible expectations, fearing failure in front of others, and wondering whether we're strong enough to belong.

We stopped playing the game. We never stopped trying to prove we belong.
